Chris Emmers, the second of three enterprising daughters and a talented horse rider
winning many competitions, is destined to take over and expand her father’s business.
From the early nineties, the equestrian branch takes an enormous leap. In 2002, it is
decided that Emmers Ruitersport is to go solo at a new location: 1,000 square metres of
just equestrian sport and lifestyle.
Soon even the new site proves to be too small for Emmers’ expanding business. In 2007,
the Emmers family starts looking into a new and more central venue in Hamont for a
brandnew building. By the end of 2008, the papers are signed and at the beginning of
2010 Emmers Ruitersport moves into the new build, with as much as 1,500 square
metres of equestrian essentials and lifestyle items.
Over the course of years Emmers Ruitersport has made a name for itself in the
equestrian scene. Moreover, we’re associated with a great number of substantial yards
and professional riders.
